Low airfare from Houston to Steamboat!

The Steamboat Ski Area has announced Continental Airlines is offering special airfares from Houston, TX to Steamboat as low as $99 each way. I thought I should let you know since this is a great price and my sister is a Flight Attendant for Continental! Sometimes my sister is able to work on these flights and pops in to visit me. Starting December 18, 2008, Continental Airlines will operate a Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a total capacity of 155 passengers on the nonstop Houston route directly into the Steamboat/Hayden (HDN) airport, just 22 miles/35kms from the resort. In addition, Continental will operate extra Saturday operations throughout key segments of the season.

Steamboat (HDN). Roundtrip purchase is required. Off-peak fares valid for travel 1/7/09-2/11/09, 2/23/09 – 3/11/09 and 3/24/09 – 3/30/09, into Steamboat Sun-Wed, return Tue-Fri. A 21 day advance purchase is required. Tickets must be purchased by 12/7/08. Fare amounts are each way. Other taxes and fees may apply, including but not limited to passenger facilities charges (PFC’s) of up to $18, a US flight segment tax of $3.50 per segment (a segment is defined as a take-off and a landing,) and the September 11 security fee of up to $2.50 per US departure, per passenger. Fares do not include a $15 booking fee when booked through Steamboat Central Reservations. Tickets are non-refundable.
